LIME FEVER

Hailing from Brighton, exuberant quartet LIME have lived up to their zingy namesake with their sweet yet sour new single 'Fever'. Squeezing bags of attitude into every line, vocalist/guitarist Chloe Howard questions the status quo, asking: "Why should I get up when I'd rather be in bed?". Sonically channelling the jangly indie-inspired disco-punk of The Orielles, resonant sax notes blast through the mix, adding a touch of ska-y nostalgia that gives 'Fever' a distinctive retro feel, circa 1979. It's only the second taste of LIME's eclectic sound, following their well received debut 'Surf N Turf' back in February, but we'll be keeping out eyes peeled for more. -Holly Mullineaux
